The Dealer’s Broker, Octane Finance, has made use of our marketing practices for several years for a variety of different tasks. From website maintenance, to social media management, video content creation and email newsletter marketing to name just a few, Octane finance have empowered us to manage the entirety of their marketing portfolio.
When taking on the challenges that Octane were facing we met with the Directors and immediately realised their passion for the business. Octane also gave us the opportunity to work with a business that is predominantly B2B and we were able to quickly demonstrate our adaptability in catering for all audiences.
We were able to push the boundaries and create video content that hit the spot with both the Directors and the entire team.
The investment is staff and the ‘right’ people is something very close to the heart of Octane Finance as a company and we were able to create bespoke ‘meet the team’ video content all hosted on their YouTube channel and visible on the new and improved website. These work hand in hand on social media, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram and those channels have all seen an uplift in engagement as a result. We were also able to use our video content expertise to create videos for the website explaining who Octane are and what they do as well as capitalising on their sponsorship of Porsche Carrera Cup Champion Harry King.
We were able liaise with Harry, and set up a day where imagery and video content was completed to a high standard and this ended up being a highlight of the social media timelines as well hosted on the website. Use of video has been something that Octane invested in with Fortis in a big way and we have managed to hit the brief of Octane’s professional but fun environment, and it has also helped with recruiting new starters into the business.
Here at Fortis we are always trying to push the envelope in terms of the way businesses operate and we managed to involve dealerships in Octane’s review process. We were keen to implement a video testimonial series and pitched the idea to the Director. Once given the go ahead we managed to produce a succession of videos entitled “The Dealer’s Broker” series which is an ongoing sequence of videos where dealerships gain video exposure and articulate a glowing reference for Octane Finance and the service they provide.
TikTok also was introduced to Octane Finance courtesy of Fortis.
Entering into a new platform of video content and ensuring we are both on trend, but on the edge of professional while pushing boundaries is a constant challenge, but with forward thinking Directors and keeping that element of a “fun place to work” we have managed to be consistent and ensure that Octane are recognised for their TikTok channel as well as their excellent service. We also have managed the social posting for over 4 years now, everything from reviews, blog posts and coming up with creative ideas that help with engaging the target audience such as the World Cup 2022 initiative.
We are also responsible for all the email marketing and communication. On a weekly basis we carefully design email newsletters with our own imagery/video, targeting both new business and existing customers. The marketing emails are all planned in advance and have a feel of originality, all with a unique message.
